Pissarro’s capability with pastel is shown off again, in this piece – his water and trees are remarkable. Signed “H. Claude Pissarro.” lower right. Circa 1979. Entitled on the back – “L’entrée de Moulins-Engilbert (Route de Van denesse)”. Excellent condition. With certificate from the Pissarro family.  Framed in scalloped wood with gold finish. Double matted with linen and blue with beveled, inner edges.
